An Amazing Tribute to Three Legends
Carl Palmer has unveiled highly personal artistic tributes to the memory of his dear friends and collaborators John Wetton, Greg Lake, and Keith Emerson. Known as the My Legends Series, these pieces were created by Palmer to honor each of the musicians through fine art.
Welcome Back, My Friends, the first in the collection is a tribute to Keith Emerson. Notable in the artwork is the image of Emerson's Moog and the tanglement of chords.
And to friend and colleague John Wetton, Carl Palmer unveiled a work titled Heat of the Moment. The visual tribute showcases an antique microphone based on Wetton's unforgettable voice.
The work Lucky Man was created following the passing of Greg Lake. Within the work, viewers will note the image of Greg's acoustic guitar.
